Reusable assets and safer video rendering
Project: An autonomous WordPress publishing and management system
Work on the video builder has moved beyond individual scenes into the assets and operational tools around them. I added libraries for overlays and colour lookup tables, then shared the VFX library between the builders so that the same assets could be selected in more than one workflow.
Assets and effects
The effects work includes additional controls, improved overlay support and custom fonts. I also added utilities to resize assets while preserving alpha transparency, alongside backup and restore tools for the VFX files. Those utilities are part of keeping an asset library usable, not just adding more effects to an editor.
Render jobs
Rendering can occupy a server for long enough that an accidental second request matters. I added duplicate-render prevention and improved job history, while bringing the rendering panels into a more consistent interface. The repository also marks a version 1.5 release during this period; that is a development milestone rather than a measure of adoption or production readiness.
There was adjacent work on project featured images and prompts to help generate images. The video tooling was an experiment and was later removed from this plugin after its CPU use proved too disruptive on the shared server.
