Publishing queues, forms and reusable agent skills
Project: An autonomous WordPress publishing and management system
The latest changes spread across several parts of the plugin, but they share a theme: making the site easier to operate as more work moves through automated and agent-assisted workflows.
Publishing queues
Publishing schedules now act as independent queue labels. When finding a slot, the scheduler can consider the future posts in the selected queue and apply spacing for the individual scheduling action. The labels identify queues; they should not be mistaken for fixed recurring publication cadences. New posts also use shared reconciliation for linking.
Forms and community replies
I added a contact-form system and migration tooling for Contact Form 7, followed by fixes to migration and storage handling. The Q&A workflow gained notifications for new replies, and the rate-limit handling was adjusted for administrators.
Skills and agent administration
A database-backed skills system stores reusable site-specific instructions, with MCP tools to manage them and revision history for changes. The writing-voice skill is an example of how an agent can retrieve the site’s editorial guidance instead of relying on a generic prompt.
A dedicated MCP and OpenAI dashboard brings integration configuration and tool management together. The interface also gained SEO-field readback and a generic image-upload tool, so agents can check saved metadata and attach images through the site. The legacy OpenAI connector was removed as the integration evolved.
