Pausing watchlists and quarantining ideas
Project: An autonomous WordPress publishing and management system
As automatic publishing develops, the controls around it matter as much as the happy path. I have added watchlist pausing and an idea-quarantine workflow, along with more visibility into publisher runs and the ideas they process.
Setting ideas aside
When enabled for a publishing schedule, quarantine can flag an idea judged unsuitable under the configured guidance and move it out of the ordinary workflow. Quarantined ideas are protected from actions such as attaching more evidence or linking them to a post until they are restored. The admin interface provides a route to restore them, and a separate cleanup job was added for quarantine processing.
The guidance and the recorded reason are important because a filter can get a decision wrong. I have worked on false flags and clearer reasons, but quarantine is a control for investigation, not proof that everything left in the queue is suitable for publication.
Operational visibility
Publisher history, idea tracking and run cards make it easier to see what happened during an automated run. Model management and another authentication option also expanded configuration. Follow-up fixes addressed scheduler and cron payload handling.
I revised the wording used around Reddit-sourced material to give more attention to private individuals and unsupported allegations. Wording and filtering can help guide the system, but they do not settle the wider questions of privacy, consent or copyright.
